J. Peter Pierce
Founder and Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Pierce founded Pioneer Capital, L.P. in September of 2000.

Mr. Pierce had served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Pierce Leahy since January 1995, and had been a director of the company since the early 1970's. He successfully orchestrated the company's Initial Public Offering on the New York Stock Exchange on July 1, 1997. Mr. Pierce was President and Chief Operating Officer of Pierce Leahy and its predecessor company, Pierce Business Archives for eleven years. He joined the firm as a Sales Executive in the early 1970's, then rapidly ascended to various executive positions including regional General Manager and Vice President of Operations. Mr. Pierce attended the University of Pennsylvania and served in the United States Marine Corps.

Before joining Pioneer Capital, Peter worked for Cross Atlantic Capital Partners a technology focused venture capital fund. He worked in both the London and Radnor, Pennsylvania offices evaluating investment opportunities for the fund. Prior to Cross Atlantic, Peter worked for Citigroup's investment banking division in New York City and London. His coverage areas included Private Equity, Capital Goods, and Technology. Specific transaction experience included Equity/High Yield offerings and Mergers and Acquisitions. Peter attended Tulane University and graduated from the A.B. Freeman School of Business in 1997 with a degree in accounting. He also completed Level 1 of the CFA.

Before joining Pioneer Capital in 2000, Kathleen worked for Pierce Leahy Corporation as an Executive Assistant for 3 years.
